Traditionally, RE games store every save in a single file, not individual files. All 5 of the main series games up to, and including, RE4, on every console they've been on, has done this, including the original version of RE2. You cannot delete individual saves in any of the older games, I imagine REmake 2 is the same way. Satchmo25 4 years ago
Mods can be installed/uninstalled on the fly - depending on the game, you will need to change the outfit or reload a save. Had the same problem about after 3 hours playing. Got too happy with the knife and had crimsonheads everywhere. Took too long to find the fuel flask because it was my first playthrough. Started a new game and overwrited the previous save -> problem solved.
To import someone's save file, you do the exact same thing as before. Turn Steam Cloud off. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\Unique user id\254700\remote. Remove "savegame00.sav". Add other "savegame00.sav". I don't know if you can add another save file named "savegame01.sav" but if you want, you can try that and tell me in the
